The Nesbitt hospitality Group has invested over $2 million in the refurbishment of the N1 Hotel in Harare which opened its doors to the public last week.
The Hotel which was formerly known as the Executive Hotel has been given a facelift to cater for the business traveller at affordable rates.In an interview, chief executive of N&B Group of Companies, Digby Nesbitt said the new hotel is part of an expansion program that aims to spread the N1 brand throughout the country.
“We have invested $2 million in the refurbishment of the N1 Hotel to date and will be spending a bit more as we round up the refurbishment exercise in the coming month. We are currently in the process of acquiring the building.
“We have our sights set on expanding the N1 Hotel group throughout the country, so as to offer affordable self catering accommodation to businessmen and tourists alike in most of Zimbabwe’s major towns,” he said.
The group currently has three N1 hotels in Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls. In addition, the group also has owns the Nesbitt Castle in Bulawayo and the Nesbitt Arms Hotel in Chiredzi.
The N1 Hotel, Harare has 30 rooms but only 16 have been full refurbished. The hotel offers budget accommodation designed to cater specifically for the traveller, who wants nothing more than a simple, clean and comfortable environment after a hectic day. Although the prices are ultra competitive, the quality of service remains uncompromised. Rates are available from the Hotel’s website.
The hotel is conveniently located in the vicinity of the Central Business District and a stone throw away from various food courts and night spots.
